Fabulous Find boutique helps Seacoast Mental Health Center

Portsmouth Herald - 4/15/2017

PORTSMOUTH — The Fabulous Find, a resale boutique in Kittery, Maine, recently presented Seacoast Mental Health Center one half of its March profits, a total of $5,933.

The funds will enable the center to create a transportation voucher program for adult clients in its Addiction Services Program or in its Assertive Community Treatment Program. Without transportation many of these clients are unable to access services.

SMHC’s mission is to provide a broad, comprehensive array of high quality, effective and accessible mental health services to residents of the eastern half of Rockingham County. Founded in 1963 to address the mental health care needs of the New Hampshire Seacoast, SMHC is one of 10 nonprofit state-designated community mental health centers in New Hampshire. As a CMHC, it provides evaluations and treatment services to children, adolescents and families, adults and the elderly who lives in its catchment area regardless of their ability to pay.

SMHC accepts most major insurances and offer a sliding fee scale for uninsured consumers.
