Bowling Green - Jimmie Beck, 93 of Bowling Green died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Medical Center. The Warren County native was a son of the late Alford and Lela Miller Beck. He is preceded in death by five sisters, Eunia Mae Wilson, Annie Marie Wilson, Stella Lorene Truex, Beulah Beck and Becky Vandevender; four brothers, Charles Beck, Eddie Beck, Gilbert "Tank" Beck and Jessie Beck. He was employed for several years as a meat cutter for Bob White Packing Co., a member of Penns Chapel Church of Christ and a World War II Army veteran His survivors include his daughter, Debra McCandless (Clint); one grandson, B.C. McCandless; one granddaughter, Sarah Moore (Corey); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Penns Chapel Cemetery with military honors. Visitation 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
